Tate Modern
Tate Modern is Britain’s national gallery of international modern art and one of the most-visited modern art galleries in the world, with around 4.7 million visitors per year. Silbercow has worked with Tate Modern since it opened its doors in 2000.
As part of the gallery’s education and interpretation programmes, Silbercow has designed dynamic and engaging education material for all ages, such as: Teacher and Group Leader kits and family explorer and activity packs.
The Teacher Kits are built up of information keycards and examples of the artwork either as A4 sheets or larger folders posters. This makes it easier and economical for teachers to photocopy the material to use in the classroom. The kits are clear, easy to use and correlate to key stages in education.
The Family Explorer Packs are vibrant and fun activity packs designed in collaboration with educators at Tate Modern. The style and format changes depending on the nature of the exhibition they correspond with and the art work being looked at. They have activities for a varying of age groups and are distributed to families visiting Tate Modern.
